Draco stood there, shocked. He took a step closer to her and pushed her hair out of her face. “Hermione,” he whispered. “You know… you know how much you mean too me. You know how much I love you. You know how much I’ll always love you. After these three months, though, seeing you walk, talk and laugh with other guys while I didn’t talk to anyone and you didn’t even look at me… I felt betrayed. I know I proved myself to you, and you’re the smartest girl I know… You know what a love potion can do too someone. I felt like all hope was gone and I was never going to get you back.”Draco turned toward her. “I told you that. I told you that, three months ago.” He paused, “Why did it take you this long?”Hermione watched as Draco walked up to Percy’s desk as Muggle Studies ended. They hadn’t talked or had any sort of interaction since she asked for them to take a break and frankly, she missed him. She watched as he walked out of the class and she walked quickly to…
Her face fell for a moment but quickly regained composure and walked to catch up with him. She’d forgotten how long his legs were. Two of her steps equaled one of his. “Draco, wait.” she said, grabbing his arm to make him stop.
Draco stopped, “What?” He answered her quickly and in a monotone voice.
“Draco, I’m sorry.” she said, trying not to feel too hurt by the monotony in his voice. “You understand why I did what I did, and it hurt when you told me you called me a…a mudblood.” she said, tripping over the word mudblood accidentally, “But now that I’ve had time to think and to be alone I understand that it was just the potion talking. That it wasn’t you.” she sighed. “I’m sorry for ever thinking it was more then just the potion.” she finished. Hermione was quite shocked with herself. She hadn’t expected all of that to come out in one breath.
“It hasn’t been easy this past year, falling in love with you.” she said defensively. “You were the last person on earth that I could trust. And then…this happened.” she said, gesturing between the two of them. “And when you said you’ve changed, and I saw that change in you and in your mother, I believed you. And I trusted you. But a part of me had this inkling of doubt in the back of my mind that you had changed at all. But I loved you more then anything, so I pushed it to the side, telling that doubt that it was ridiculous to be so uncertain of you.” she admitted, “And when you called me a mudblood that inkling flared up stronger then ever. I couldn’t stop it.” she paused, “But in these past three months I realized that there is no one else for me but you, and my doubt will never get in the way of that ever again. I love you.” she said, “Although I don’t expect you to say it back to me now, I just thought I should let you know the truth.” she finished.
Hermione’s hearts started with Draco’s proximity. She hadn’t realized how much she truly missed his touch until now. “Draco, I am so sorry. But I’m here now. Begging you to forgive me.” she said, sincerity clear in her eyes.
He took a step back. “I, I can forgive you… but I can’t take you back.”
// I can’t read your tag cause I’m on my phone. xD I think they should talk someone privately though. Lol
Hermione took a deep breath and nodded, “I understand, but I am willing to do anything to get back to where we were.” she promised.
//haha it doesn’t matter. ignore my weird tags. but yeah sure if you want them to talk alone go ahead and direct it :)
All Draco could think about was Ginny. “Can we talk privately?”
“Of course.”
//lol man. this ginny thing makes me so very sad, although i don’t have a right to be -_- le sigh. I’m nervous to see how this will end up.
